May 6th, 2020 - Onlne You're Invited to the Land to Table Zoom-Luck Now, more than ever personal and community-scale food security is top of mind for everyone. We invite you to join us on May 6th, 7-8:30pm to explore together the opportunities that we might have now to build a more resilient and vibrant local food system.  So much has changed since we met in early February at the L2T 3rd annual forum – Bridging Gaps – Exploring Local Food Access in the North Okanagan.   This online Zoom-luck feels like a good next step in reconnecting within a new context. We are curious to learn what access to local food looks like, feels like, and means to you now and where you feel action is most needed?

Even though we live in a region of diverse and productive foodlands, food access is impacted by a wide range of factors including: poverty, transportation, access to land for traditional hunting, fishing, and gathering, social isolation, and a lack of skills and knowledge.
